Workshops offered are bespoke, catering to individual requirements they offer an opportunity to enjoy the process of drawing in an encouraging and supportive environment whether that be a Walk, Talk and Draw in the New Forest, bringing the studio experience to your home or online. New Forest Beekeepers Association serve those in the New Forest and surrounding area who are experienced beekeepers, beginner beekeepers, and anyone who wishes to be associated with bees and beekeeping in the New Forest area. We run training events and hands on experience, pop up events for education, and of course have a tent at the New Forest Show showing all the wonderful local honey or bee related produce.

SWHB provides beekeeper training, with bee “buddies” for all newbie beekeepers to guide them through the early stages of their beekeeping journey plus practical training in our own apiary and ongoing support. Our monthly meetings include guest speakers and we attend local shows & events providing public information about honeybees and beekeeping in general. We collect honeybee swarms and promote public awareness of the importance of our native honeybees as pollinators.

Sarah is a textile artist with over 25 years of teaching the ancient art of feltmaking from school children, adults with learning difficulties to community projects. She works from her studio in the heart of the New Forest where she teaches small classes but also travels extensively across the UK and internationally. Workshops can range from a few hours to 2 days, summer schools available too.
